He seems to no longer look at the negatives, the thousand tiny contacts that built his photographic world and formed the singular installations. As one who agitates thebanquet tablecloth to clear the leftovers, he shakes the photos we once celebrated. And his new landscaping has gone out of the window: the dead leaves, the trees, the family letters, the relatives’ faces, the tiny objects, the intimate calligraphies.
